One of my favorite clips on YouTube!

While this really isn't a 'performance', (kind of a combination of an advertisement and someone explaining how you get a great sound out of a hand built guitar), I find it not only educational, but very entertaining!

And boy, what a great sound John gets!

Thanks, David. Bresh put a chair in his kitchen and told me to have a seat. He said, "Just tell me about your new guitar and play a few tunes. I'll edit it together for you." And he did. Me and Ed Beaver are flying out to Arizona next week to hang with Bresh. We are going to have fun in Picker's Paradise. John

Hi John,

Didn't Nokie move out there also in that area, a while back?

I've always considered Thom one of the most talented and innovative individuals in all of show business.

That trip should be a blast, (if you can survive the 'pat-down')...

Have fun!

David

Wow! What a great video!

John, I envy you the guitar. It is a true sweetheart. Glad you have it. Also enjoyed your typically marvelous picking.

Another superb Bresh video, with perfect audio and video.

David, thanks for posting this.

Hi John CGP,

You have a wonderful sounding guitar and you are a terrific player. I've heard you in person, on your instructional recordings, in that Bresh demo and you always have that 'John Knowles' touch, which I enjoy hearing.

I notice you sometimes play your melody notes with the 'ring' finger, which I also do. I saw Martin Taylor demonstrate that at CAAS, and he uses it a lot. It somehow comes natural for me, but sometimes I feel that I overuse the technique.

You are a very good guitar instructor and an inspiration for many of us players.

Thanks,
Ronnie Evans
