CAAS 2014: Eddie Estes, Audie Wykle, and Rick Peckham

Rick Peckham, Eddie, and Audie put on an impromptu clinic on Jerry Reed. At the end of their clinic, I requested Stumpwater. Without rehearsal, they nailed it.

It was great seeing Rick Peckham at CAAS with several of his students that have been instructed in the "ways of Jerry Reed" at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Rick is responsible for inducing "finger style" guitar (with THUMB PICKS) into formal music acedemia. He hired Guy VanDuser as his finger style instructor. WAY TO GO, RICK!!!!

Just so everyone knows, we were all there waiting for Craig Dobbins, who was unable to make it. Instead of everyone just getting up and leaving, we all stayed and Eddie, Audie, and Rick Peckham put this all together on the fly as we all sat and watched everything evolve. Very impressive!

Rande....you are correct. It was a very impressive showing on the spur of the moment. Rick, Audie, and Eddie did a great job! Sorry I didn't see you, or I would have said hi! Next year!
