The Chetboard

Here I try to replicate "Letter Edged in Black".

This arrangement is from  Chet Atkins  1965 LP More of That Guitar Country.

I learned the first part, the one with the artificial harmonics, from Craig Dobbins (Great Guitarist).

The second part I got listening to the song.

The rhythm section was made by me using band in a box.

Here I use my Taylor 814ce, and I believe that CHET used his dobro Del Vecchio.

I listened to both postings and you did a great job on both! I've seldom tried arrangements like these because they never sound good to me without backup, and I'm too lazy to make or too cheap to buy the back up tracks! You solved that by going to the extra effort in making your own!

Paolo, I listened to both of your songs too. Great work! The Taylor sounded great for "Letter Edged in Black" and you did excellent learning the rest of the tune by ear. Nice to see your dedication and hard work.
