We´ve discussed the Nashville Classic lately. Here´s Chet with a double cutaway Country Gentleman almost identical to his favourite single cutaway ´59 CG with a Supertron and a Filtertron pickup. I can´t imagine there´s a better sounding guitar anywhere nowadays except for the new 6122-59 Nashville Classic/Country Gentleman. And with a two man band like that or Paul Yandell you don´t need more backing than that.

I believe he really didn't like the double cutaway models but he used them on TV and album cover photos as per his endorsement contract with Gretsch

I´m with Chet. I don´t like them either. Luckily I don´t have to promote them so I can stick to the single cutaways.
