This message board is designed for the discussion of guitar-related issues, with particular emphasis on fingerstyle guitar and specifically , the life and music of history's greatest guitar player, Mister Guitar, Chet Atkins https://www.misterguitar.us/forum/
What strikes me with this, even though it's something I've noticed before, is how much Jerry could play just like Chet - by which I mean, that middle section when Jerry starts, it's got that same smoothness and even note selection like Chet would do it. He still sounds like himself later, but with my eyes closed I'd be might hard pressed to swear it was anything but Chet.

Wow, that tune in B minor poured some cold chills on me, dontcha know
(can't remember the name of it ... a blind lady composed it and her singing of it made it a hit, oh so many years ago ... can't remember her name, either) .... duh, I finally clicked through and saw the name is Somebody's Knockin' (I wanted to call it Devil in Blue Jeans, but knew that was wrong).
Super job by both Chet and Paul.

Bruce, that blind lady was Terry Gibbs, sister to the BG's. She really outdid herself on that song.

Thanks, Richard. I remember now. I can picture her performing the song while playing the piano ... not sure what show it was on, but I have a memory of it.
You're right : she sure did herself proud with that song.
Thanks again, Bruce
