The "100th" Tune

Postby keener » Tue Sep 17, 2013 8:05 pm

I noticed today that I have put up 97 videos on YouTube, and figured, Why not do an even 100? Problem being, though, I still have no interest in picking, and it ain't likely on its way. But, I had a few recordings that I had put on YouTube and then took down because I thought they sucked so bad, and, long story short: I re-uploaded 3 vids to bring the total to 100. Now if St Peter asks me 'Why didn't you upload an even 100 vids,' I can tell him Look again, dude.

Note: at one time I had close to 120 tunes on YouTube. Not sure what I did with all of those.

Bruce, sorry to hear about your lack of interest in picking... sure hope you can regain your fire. I've picked up some good licks and ideas from your videos. Regards - Tom W.

Hi Bruce,
One hundred's a nice round number and I loved the three videos you selected. You're blessed with some great skills playing and arranging. I hope to see you post something new soon and make it 101 - like the Dalmations. Check the tuning on your guitar often and see what happens. Keep it in tune.
Best Regards,
GaryL

Thanks guys. While I believe in the saying Never say never, I just don't see me doing more videos. My interest in that sort of thing is pretty much gone. Sure there's a chance that one day I'll pick up my guitar and stumble on something and say to myself that I think I'll record that. That's possible. Just not likely though. It was fun for a few years. I needed it. Now my needs are different, maybe even undefined, but different nonetheless. 100 is a good number.

Thanks for being special friends.

Hi Bruce,

I hope you can get "it" back. I don't like the sound of "good bye".
