Thanks for posting this. I felt it was quite appropriate at that ceremony, and while Simon isn't the singer he used to be (naturally), the lyrics he has put together throughout the years in various songs, are deep and meaningful. For those of us who "grew-up" during those turbulent times, (Vietnam, Nixon, etc.) he (as well as Art Garfunkel) became almost our "spokesman" for what was right and what was wrong...
