Here's a great young picker named Macyn Taylor. She does some awesome Loe Kottke material and a pretty darn good job on Chet's "Black Mountain Rag".

Here's the link to her BMR

Watch Phil's link anyway. She's a Gooood picker. She seems stuck on Leo Kottke even to the point of crediting him with writing BMR but sooner or later she'll buy a Jerry Reed record.
Pretty girl, good guitarist... barefoot, even. Nice touch with the rustic backdrop...
Good luck to her.

Awesome find Phil!!! I've watched several videos on her channel and all of them were inspiring.
Thanks for the Black Mountain Rag link Norm. She gives Leslie Keith, not Leo Kottke credit for creating Black Mountain Rag and of course Chet for the arrangement.
If she has a bandwagon I want on it! I don't think I've been this enthused about anyone since I discovered the Odell Martin sound clips.

She'd be a great Reed Picker. Check out her clawin' technique on this Kottke tune "Ants"
