Re: Gettin' On Down The Road
I love this track Richard. Very good song. Those good sounding guitars are coming from all angles.

Richard:
Must be the hard pan to the left. The piano comes through fine, but from 1:59-2:14 there's a
noticeable drop on the single string part. Full volume resumes at about 2:14 with your fingerstyle.
I downloaded the file, and it's a little better than on Box.net, but not much.
What's nice to me about the tune is your arrangement--mixing up treble, bass tonality, the piano; all
that keeps the listeners attention. It's just the way Chet would do it.

Richcard:
Allow me to correct myself. The panning problem is a result of my audio setup--cptr, ua-25-mxr-spkrs. Running your
tune through just the sound card results in a stronger gtr part after the piano. I've never run into this from any
other tune I've listened to or downloaded. Always a first time. My apologies.

No apology necessary, Alfonso. I appreciate you listening so closely. The hard pans make for a good stereo effect, but also create some listening problems sometimes.
Thanks,
Richard

Hi, Richard...
When you first posted this tune I immediately added it to my favorites and use it as a warm-up exercise whenever I sit down at the computer with my guitar to work on some tunes. I really enjoy playing along with it... kinda gets me in the groove. Just a really fun song to play along with. Thanks, Tom W.

Thanks Tom. I appreciate that. It has a Jerry Reed type chord progression and it was my opener for a long time.
