Pjokken og Bestefar

Postby rhudson » Mon Mar 17, 2014 11:27 am

No, my keyboard didn't go crazy. This is a song that is on my Down Home Classics CD that was written by a Norwegian friend, Ronald Holmberg. Translated, they tell me the title in English is Grandpa and The Chap.

Several different guitars. Steel guitar by my lifelong friend, Charles Archer, who played lead guitar for Conway Twitty from the early 70's up until Conway's untimely death. He also played steel for Loretta Lynn up until just recently. Drums are my son, Sean.

I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks,
Richard

Richard, I have to agree with LMark! Outstanding job!! I could not even take a stab at how the title is pronounced though!

Thank you, Mark and Terry. Terry, just pronounce the "j" like it was a "y" and you will come pretty close. The rest is pretty much like it looks. "Pe-yoken," except say it as 2 syllables.
