Zing Went the Strings of My Heart

Postby GaryL » Fri Mar 14, 2014 4:40 pm

I first heard this song on the Chetboard a few weeks ago. It was interesting and surprising to hear Chet do it with the bass strings on the left channel and the treble strings on the right. I don't have a CGP guitar to do it that way and wish I did. I used my NC (Ron's got a really nice one for sale). Here's the first section. I'm still tabbing out the last half of the song. I'm playing it a little slower than Chet - because - There's only one CHET.
Thanks for listening.

I remember posting this on Ytube on my Chet Channel (

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wly2wCsp ... ata_player ) but mostly I remember the first time I heard it being blown away by all the sound he was getting out of that guitar! I must have listened to it a hundred times after that, equally amazed every spin of the record.
