***Shameless plug warning***….My good friends Tom Billotto and Jimmy Bookout in Charlotte NC have a hit with their new CD, “Two And A Half Guitars” – a superb collection of acoustic fingerstyle guitar duets (with some tasty ukulele work thrown in also – the “half guitar”). Image

It was recently selected as “CD of the Month” at the ‘Strings and Beyond’ website (a great place to buy strings, btw):

Tom and Jimmy's love for Chet's style is evident throughout every cut on the CD. These guys are good - give it a listen! Thanks, Bill

I don't know what went wrong. I went to the site and clicked on a link to hear samples of their tracks but it sounded as if they were all playing at once producing a horrible cacophony of guitar made sounds. Did that happen to anybody else? Thanks.

Rich - the link on the Strings and Beyond website should take you to Tom Billotto's website where you can hear samples of the cd. My computer uses QuickTime to listen, and it worked fine. Thanks, Bill

Thanks to our dear friend (and amazing guitarist) Bill for the "shameless plug". The CD was great fun to produce, Tom did ALL the heavy lifting, playing and arrangement wise (thank goodness) and his greatness shows through.

Tom's website is working now for those that would like to listen to some tunes. Thanks again to our buddy, the talented and clever Mr. Park, for the plug.

Jimmy
