The Chetboard

Hi Everyone,
Haven't been on the board for a while but the other day I listened to the track posted by Tia of David's new version of "Ghost Riders In the Sky". After I listened to it I sent him an email telling him how much I enjoyed it and to encourage his projects going forward. He responded by telling me his CD and instructional DVD was just about ready and to let everyone know. After seeing the tracklist I saw he had one of my favorite tracks listed, a version I encouraged him to record some time ago, we discussed it and he sent it to me. I hope you all enjoy David's Interpretation of Chet's version of "Both Sides Now"...

Starting at around 00:38 then again at 00:53 and several other places throughout this recording, the timing sounds off...like additional beats were added giving the piece an uneven feel. Was this intentional or is this still a work in progress? I enjoy David's work but for me, the added beats make this a difficult piece to listen to.

Thanks for posting. I think it's great! The more I listen to it the more I like it and I can hear David really getting into it. Wonderful tone.
