This is a little out of place here, but I wanted to share this song with you. My son loaned me his Martin DXM a few days ago and it just seemed that this song was begging to be sung, so I did.

Richard, a song like that is never out of place as far as I am concerned. That was an excellent rendition. I hope you sing some more.

When I listen to posts here on the Chetboard, I usually do so with my eyes closed and while wearing a pair of headphones. When I listened to this recording, images of Don Williams instantly popped into my mind. I absolutely enjoy listening to his voice, and now....to yours! You obviously have lots of training, self or otherwise, but you obviously have a very pleasant singing voice.

I have a long list of one tune that I will "sing" in public - 16 Tons - and it is more of a recitation. The only other time I will "sing" at a gig is when the building evacuation system has malfunctioned and the folks at my gig absolutely MUST be evacuated quickly.
