Hey,
a nice guy posted an bootleg recordet full concert of Chet on his website. The sound is very great! Don't know if it's allowed to post the link here, but I'll post it here. If it's against the board rules, please inform me.
Here you can find and download for free:

Re: Full audio of Chet Concert performance in 1993 !!
I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you posting this link to the Chet concert. I am always looking for something from Chet that I have never heard. After many years of searching not much new comes available but this is one that I have not heard. I am thankful you found it and posted the link. If anyone else has any Chet concerts please post them. This is great stuff!
Thanks,
Wes Southerland

Chet's timing and phrasing puts him beyond everyone else.
His playing such as on "Stardust" can bring tears to your eyes.
His phrasing is like a singer.
So many play songs too fast with too many notes and that can completely lose the feel of the melody.
His live performances were so different than the studio cuts in that he played licks and stretched the melody and made it his own. He always threw in those little surprises.
There are great players today, but it is not the same.

I'm glad you all like it!!! Me too!
The uploader posted the link to me on Youtube.
Chet was a rare genius. To hear a full concert perfromance was always a big wish of mine since I never had the chance to see him in concert.

Thanks for sharing this link!
I had the pleasure of seeing Chet in Gothenburg, Sweden in Nov 1973. But then he shared the show with some other country artists, so Chets part was fairly short. Too short in my opinion...
This one is a full show with great music, and you can tell that the audience is enjoying every minute of it! Great!

Thomas, that Göteborg show would be during the Nashville Cavalcade European tour of Autumn 1973. Chet´s part is issued on the video/DVD "Chet Atkins - Rare Performances 1955-1975. It´s almost in its entirety, only the finishing number Jackety Axe is omitted for some reason. I know, because I was at the Oslo show. My video is OV11381 distributed by Music Sales Ltd, Suffolk, England. The other performers were Bobby Bare, Dottie West and Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass. The show was recorded and broadcast both on Norwegian TV and radio later that year. That video and the follow-up video, Rare Performances 1976-1995, are obvious candidates for the coming season´s gifts. No Chet fan will survive without them.

That rare performances 1955 to 1975 is really awesome, especially his 1973 Norway concert with the full orchestra backing! If you don't have a 1959 Nashville Classic/CG when you watch that 1973 concert you'll likely want one after seeing it.
Does anybody know what amp Chet was playing through for that 1973 concert?
