The Old Rugged Cross

I love to play and sing the old hymns. Most of you know that. Of course I like to put my own spin on them, but I didn't mess with this one too much. It is such a beautiful old hymn that all it needs is to be heard. I used my Gibson CE electric nylon string. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for listening,

Richard

Richard, that was nice. You enhanced it with a few little touches that kept it from sounding so "vanilla", like it can sometimes.

Thank you, Rande. There is a lot of hidden beauty in a lot of those old hymns. Sometimes it takes a little imagination to bring it out, but it is there.

You're welcome, Richard. And then there's the issue of your touch and the sound that you got. That deserves a separate compliment.
