Lonesome Medley

Here's a little recording I did a few years ago on my Gretsch CG:

It's a medley of the Theme to Lethal Weapon and Hank Williams' House of Gold. Admittedly, it's an odd pairing of tunes, but I hope you enjoy it. (The story on why I played parts of those two tunes together is too long to go into, and wouldn't be of interest to anyone but me anyway.)

The tunes are quite different Bruce, but you transition nicely from one to the other.. Really very interesting.. and great playing as always. Thanks.

Indeed, you managed to make Lethal Weapon sound like the Intro Verse, and House Of Gold the Chorus, to an old Broadway tune. Perhaps the song would have been sung by the leading lady who, having not married the man she really loved but, instead, a guy with money, discovers she is ultimately unhappy and made the wrong choice. The song may have been called, "Your House Of Gold Is A Lethal Weapon To My Heart".

Very good, Bruce.
