Richard Hudson's posting of Good Night Irene got me to give this tune a try. I learned some of Chet's arrangement and gave it a try. There are many great licks in that tune. I've done it too fast, many mistakes and I got carried away at the end. Richard thanks for your post and inspriation for me to give this a try.
Thanks,
GaryL

Nice job, Gary. I am glad you were inspired to do this one. It is a good one. You stayed a lot closer to Chet's arrangement. Very nice.

Thanks for the nice comments.
I recorded my Gretsch Nashville Classic direct with no guitar amp. Here's how:
Gretsch --> Tube Preamp --> EQ --> compressor --> analog to digital converter (24Bit) --> computer.
I use Audacity (free) for recording and adding echo/delay. Also, with Audacity I make MP3's, wav, WMA, etc files.
Thanks,
GaryL
