I have owned a couple of those. One with the Fishman pickup and one that I installed a pickup in.

Mine were very nice guitars.

I own an LV-10E , about a 2005 model. This was a near top line guitar at the time and has beautiful fingerboard inlays, etc. It is spruce with rosewood back/sides and a B-Band dual source(undersaddle & under soundboard) pickup. It has a great tone and is loud and punchy acoustically. However, the action is a little higher than my other guitars so I tried to lower it to about where a Taylor acoustic is. No luck. The B Band lost all it's tone and volume which I have decided is a saddle height/downward force problem. The b band is not piezo. I put it all back original. I think Larrivee has since gone to other brand pickups and may be fine in that regard. The guitar is built a little heavier than say a Taylor but it still projects well. I don't play mine much anymore due to the action being hard on my arthritis but Larivees are well made guitars.
