The Chetboard

Hi! Is anyone in a position to A/B a 6122-59 CG/NC (c.2003—c.2015) against the more recent 6122-1959 GE/VS (vintage select [c.2017—]) model? I had to send back a VS series because the neck turned into a real handful by about the 5th fret. My Epi Elitist CG is not like that at all. Otherwise I loved the VS. I can't easily get my hands on a CG/NC, so I'm interested in your experiences. Even if you don't have access to a VS, can you describe for me the profile on an NC/CG? Thanks! LMark

I haven't seen a new one but I just got a 2006 Nashville Classic and the fingerboard is wide but the neck profile is pretty thin. It's the best sounding Gretsch I've ever played.
