I have a 414ce and love it. It has a wonderful tone, plays very nice and sounds great amplified. I was looking into upgrading to the 800 series, but couldn't justify it for the big price difference compared to the difference in tone and playability.

I also have the 414ce. It's a great guitar all around and very good for Chet/fingerstyle. The ovangkol back and sides produce a great sound and as Dean said, for the extra money you have to shell out for rosewood, the improvement in sound is disproportionate to the extra cost. Thanks, Tom W.
