Yep. My son, Ben, has been playing one for about 3 years. He plays the Maton 808 with the AP5 PU (no mic). The SoloAmp has a big, beautiful, natural sound with plenty of bass. Only con we have noticed is that it seems more susceptible to 60 cycle hum (in certain situations, not all) I think maybe because it is closer to the ceiling than your amp that sits on the floor. I highly recommend it. We got ours at Sweetwater.com for $800. Also, the original creator has a competing model call the Bag Amp, I believe. Brent Mason has a demo video on youtube.

Hope it helps.

I've used a Fishman Solo Amp for better than 2 years and highly recommend them. I find they reproduce acoustic, nylon and even electric guitars with clean fidelity. They have a nice eq and reverb built in. It is light and has a cover with wheels built in which is nice. The only negative is the bag mine came with(2008 model) has plastic zippers which get destroyed if the thing tips over while you're pulling it along. I've used it heavily and carried it across the country a few couple times with no problem. I play Matons, Taylors(steel and nylon) and Larivees and an old Gretsch and Gibson and it works with all. Has a lot of punch, even outdoors.
