While experimenting with a couple of different reverb tanks in my MM RD50 amp I noticed it had a 60 hz hum with the reverb control turn up around 5. I turned the reverb tank around inside the pouch so the output was further away from the amps transformer. The unit now has no significant hum even with the reverb level control set at 10. I like easy repairs !!

BTW the new Accutronics reverb tanks are now being made in Korea and they offer all the original tank sizes with changeable impedances, or at least that's what the ad says.
