The Chetboard

So few notes, what a moving experience, I'll never stick with concentrating on one of Chet's tunes as long as these tunes start showing up on line. Yea, now I've got my 6120 detuned to C. Got Bless that man. I still feel sorry for him when he went up into the hens nest and faced a big black snake and broke all the eggs. Met him a few times, gave him a few bottlers of good boos, but sadly never said to him what I should have. After one of his shows at Oakdate in CT with Garrison Kealer quite a few years ago I gave him the two Guitar Country vinal Alblums to auotgraph and what he said was "How many of these things can I autograph". I didn't have a response. What I should have said was." Well Chet, what do you expect for being the greatest guitar player that ever was, and probably ever will be". I Love Chet.

He was always very humble. It was difficult to compliment him and feel that he felt that he deserved it.
