I know many don't like the Baldwin era Gretsch guitars, but Chet did have a lot of input on the Super Chet and the Super Axe of that era. I came across a website this morning that is full of information from that time in Gretsch history:

Be sure to click on the menu for loads of info, catalogs, newsletters, price lists, prototypes, ect.

Re: Baldwin era Gretsch guitars
I have a 1976 Nashville, purchased brand new, that has been a fabulous guitar. I know Gretsch made some dogs during the Baldwin era, but I really like my Nashville.
I'll have to check out the website!
Thanks!
