Objects mounted on the strings between bridge and bigsby

Hello people, I wanted to ask if anyone knows what they are and what they do, those objects placed on the strings between the bridge and the bigsby ?????
I saw them also mounted on Del Vecchio Of Chet.

Paolo, I believe those are fine tuners, allowing the player to make small precise changes in the tuning of the string.

Those are fiddle fine tuners. Chet and Paul used them some from time to time.
