I would like to know what year this guitar dates.

I'm really looking forward to hearing and seeing you play this one. I always liked the sound of these guitars. Great looking guitar.

I always think of Chet's recording of "Josephine" when I see these!

Thanks Tom and Ray, I hope soon to put a video.
This afternoon with my musician friends were playing some songs of Chet which uses DV, among them was Josephine.

I can not stop playing. this guitar kidnaps me.

A mix of classical guitar, acoustic guitar and banjo.

That's great...

Those guitars can and do have their problems but they are the only ones that have that particular, distinctive, tone. It's that resonator mainly. Much lighter than the ones made by Dobro.
...that's how it looks to me...The opinion expressed above is my own and does not necessarily reflect the views of this station. Your mileage may vary...

That should do it.

Wow! Your guitar is a dead ringer for mine! Right down to the fretboard end, grain, etc!

Audie, I'm not sure that you'll be able to compare the deadness of the ring of the two guitars.....lol
