Seems like a rather silly question - but, I fell in love with an original painting of three White Falcon Gretsch guitars by Amy Sellers in an art store in Mount Dora, FL when I visited there a couple weeks ago. So, I bought it. The only problem is that she painted the top guitar white, but the other two were orange and dark red. Did Gretsch ever make "other" color White Falcons??
If they didn't I'm thinking about painting over the falcon images on the other two pick guards....

Re: Were there "other" color White Falcons?
They're making Falcons in other colors now. Black for sure, could be others. I was never a fan of that model so I don't bother keeping up on them
...that's how it looks to me...The opinion expressed above is my own and does not necessarily reflect the views of this station. Your mileage may vary...

Thanks, Norm. Yea, I saw on the Gretsch site that they are making a black model, now - or, some time. I guess I'm being a little too critical for just being a drawing. I'll leave it as it is. It's a nice picture... See why I "just had to buy it?"
