I have a friend with an old 1963 gibson flat top that needs some set up. Does anyone know someone in that area they can recommend.

Hi Larry,

I have a friend in Greensboro that might be willing to do the work. He's a great repair guy and used to do repairs full time, but here lately he has been building full time. It wouldn't hurt to give him a call. His name is Bob Riguad. You can contact him through his web sight : http://rgmusic.com

Regards,
Bob F.

Larry,
I don't know if you get to Reidsville often but I use Joel Maynard at Musician's Tech Services.
Joel has worked on all my guitars and he also builds excellent amps.
He does a lot of work for several professional blues players and he charges about half of what he is worth!
I have seen Gibson L-5 from the '30s, a 67 White Falcon, a '20s era Gibson Mandolin, my own 65 Tennessean, various vintage Fenders and amps worked on in his shop.
Joel is truly a pro and a very nice guy.
His shop is on N. Scales St. near the old Confederate monument. His number is 932-0281.
