On Wildwood flower Chet does this roll in C chord and it sounds really cool, Ive been working on it but i cant get the same sound he does. His left hand stays stationary while his right hand does the roll can anybody show me how to do that?

The second series of rolls he goes from c to f to a g (closed at third fret using same fingering as an f chord) and briefly a barre at the fifth fret. Even that takes a while to get to go smoothly but its doable
This is where having Tabledit comes in handy so you can see it all laid out. Drove me nuts too until I saw it done there.

Pa Cobble did that roll in the C chord about as well as anyone. It's basically a full 6 string C chord in the first position. It starts with an open 6th string with a hammer on at the 3rd fret and then just rolls on through, ending on the 2nd string.

Like Jethro once said...
"Keep huntin'...it's on there someplace"
Between Tabledit and YouTube you should find the solution.
