For those of you who asked for audio clips of my signature Sand guitar, here you go. Most are with pickup, but a few are pickup/mic mix.

Craig, that really sounds nice. You know I'm a big fan of tone and that's a nice one. Were all of the sound samples in the first clip, pickup only? And the 144 oz Hammer a mixture of pickup and external mic? At any rate, it was great. The prismatone was a great choice as was the construction of the guitar. Kirk's work is extraordinary, as is your playing. Thanks for the post.

Thanks Richard. In the first clip, it's all pickup except for the second tune, which is mic left (just a Shure SM57), pickup right. Nine Pound Hammer is also mic/pickup. I left the guitar's eq flat, so you're hearing no coloration. For a "real" recording, I'd probably add just a touch more bass, and use a condenser for the mic.
Yes, love the Prismatone, love the guitar! Sam and Kirk did a fantastic job. Best nylon string I've ever had!

Craig, considering your background and history, being the best nylon string guitar that you've ever had is saying a lot!
If I were independently wealthy (or dependently wealthy via Obama) I'd purchase one because my hand size is closer to yours than others for whom Kirk has built signature guitars.

Great (sounding) guitar Craig! You realize that you are among the greats if you look at the other Kirk Sand signature guitars. That says enough I guess
.
I really like that arrangement you played of "All my Loving". Is it your own arrangement?
