The Chetboard

Hi y'all,

I was wondering what kind of amp Pat Kirtley uses in his "Pickin' like Chet" DVDs. I think the sound that he produced is pretty much spot on, at least according to my taste.

Does anyone recognize the amp? I've been searching the web like crazy, but couldn't come up with anything. Thanks.

For some reason, I was thinking it was something like a Mesa Boogie. I could be wrong, but it seems like he mentions it in the video.

Thanks for your reply, Bill. You're right, it's a Mesa Boogie. Pat Kirtley himself has already answered this question some years ago on the old Chetboard and confirmed that it was a Mesa Boogie tube amp. I'm quite the Chetboard novice, so I forgot to search the archive before bothering anyone ...

No problem. I don't even know how I remembered it. I guess it got my attention somehow.
