Steve Wariners Amp at CAAS 2010

Does anyone know what kind of bass amp steve wariner used this past july at caas? It sounded really good.

Methinks Steve would sound good thru any amp as He's a world class musician.Tone is in the hands and heart not the equipment. The Best Ty M.

I agree with you on that,but i still hes playing a great old gretsch 58 and a newer model gretsch chet atkins model and a great Kirk Sand nylon. It still dosent hurt to have a great guitar and amp setup. And no one ever gives their secrets away in all honesty.

I don't know about his acoustic setup but I know that Steve plays his Gretsch's through a Blackface Deluxe Reverb or Princeton Reverb a lot.

Thanks and i have read that before, but i was watching a video of steve from last years performance at caas and he says on it that he thought it would be great to play the bass amp he used when he was playing bass with chet all those years on the road as a tribute. And i was told he played a polytone bass amp. But i dont know what model.
