Interesting article. I just wonder if the current G6122-1959 Country Gentleman have the trestle bracing or not? They list the G6122-1958 Country Gentleman, but not the 59. My G6122-1959HOF Country Gentleman has the trestle bracing, I thought that I had read that all of the G6122-1959's have this type of bracing instead of the "waffle bracing" that they had at first.
Trestle bracing.
Thanks,

Re: Trestle bracing.
There were several discussion about bracing on the '59 over on Gretsch Discussion Pages. From what was gleaned (by guys removing one or both pickups) was that sometime after it's introduction the bracing changed from waffle to trestle. My 2011 HOF and 2006 '58 both have trestle bracing. Some of the specs on the Gretsch site need updating.
