I'm the proud new owner of a Kirk Sand mahogany guitar. It arrived today and it is a pleasure to play.
It has a 1-7/8" neck, abalone trim, side and thumb fretboard markers including extra dots on the lower high end. It features LR Baggs hex pickups and electronics. I've waited a long time for a Sand guitar and it is well worth the wait. Thanks Kirk for creating such a fine guitar!

Re: Kirk Sand Mahogany guitar (more photos)
Kirk is a real artist and craftsman who designed a remarkable instrument. I'm posting a couple more photos that show more of the beauty of the guitar.

I think I saw that guitar on eBay recently, and it looked like a great price for a Sand guitar. I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy it. They don't get any better than what Kirk makes. I don't own one, but I've played a few. They even make me sound pretty good.

Congratulations and a beautiful instrument. I too am the proud owner of a Kirk Sands guitar ... it took a while to get but well worth the wait. I was probably one of the finest instruments i have had the pleasure to play and/or own. The workmanship is immaculate and playability was perfect out of the box.
