550mv is about average.David Thunderfunk the amp builder in Nashville measured a '59 335 PAF that put out a volt(presumably RMS?) and could drive the power amp by itself with no preamp!Those Ibanez pups were some of the "best" ever made.Period!The Yamahas(in the SG 2000 series)were excellent also and were very dynamic(touch sensitive).You're lucky you got 'em.
