Thanks Norm... I deleted my question as I actually took the time to read the entire site ! DUH.

SS= Synchro Series
LR= Low Rider

...as you have pointed out.

I'll be getting a brass for my G6120-1959LTV. I "believe" my G6122-1959 Hall Of Fame already comes standard with a Tru-Arc ? I know mine IS 12" radius already... sounds and plays great as is so I'm not messing with it.

Mitch, my HOF didn't come stock with the Tru-Arc bridge.....as you said, the stock bridge is 12" radius and is standard 2 1/16" string spacing, so its fine. If it is a "real" Tru-Arc, I'm pretty sure it will have "Tru-Arc" stamped on it
The brass ones are hard to beat,,,I tried a copper one and it sounds good,,,,a lot of mids. I'll bet that stainless one will really sustain! (?) I did put a special order brass Tru-Arc on my HOF but mainly because I wanted a little wider spacing back there - - but they are fine just the way they come stock,,,, a super guitar.

Gayle,

Maybe I'm confused then... where is the Tru Arc logo stamped ? Bottom of the bridge ?

My 6120-1959LTV came with the Tru Arc as standard...maybe not the HOF..

You're correct about it coming as standard on the LTV guitar. All the Tru-Arc bridges I have seen are stamped with the name (small of course) on the front side of the bridge, facing forward on the treble end of the bridge. I went and looked at mine again to be sure. As I said, the stock brass bar bridge on the HOF is fine as is, 12" radius, etc BUT mine was NOT a Tru-Arc, so I ordered one for it.

I ordered a brass one like Gayles, Tim said it takes about 4 to 6 six weeks. I hope I like the brass. Al

MitcC:

On mine the logo is stamped on the side of the bridge facing the pickup over the treble side thumbwheel.

Hello Al,,,,,I believe you'll love it! I know there are a lot of choices, but for the style we play, its hard to go wrong with a brass one - - that was always Paul's first choice, and you can't improve on "his" recommendations!
Let us know what you think after you get it and play it.

Just checked both and both are Tru-Arc. Not sure how the HOF ended up with a Tru-Arc as I do not believe that's 'standard issue'...bought it new from Rocky @ Streetsounds...hey, I ain't complainin. The LTV comes standard with the Tru-Arc.

Mitch,,yeah man that's great! (count your blessings,,LOL) My HOF was in the first "batch" of these guitars - - that could be the difference (?)

Gayle

PS - - maybe Chuck S. will weigh in here, I think his was in the 2nd "batch",,,,he may have the Tru-Arc as stock issue also!
