over at gretschpages.com Webmaster Tim Baxter is compiling a database of Gretsh guitars by model. He's asking all owners to submit their guitars including any modifications made to the instrument and any provenance history the current owner might have on it.
Thing I like about it is you have an instant, printable, resource for all pertinent data for insurance records and in the event the instrument gets stolen.
