It looks from the speaker like it can really carry the bass. Is it a prototype for a future production item?

The speaker is a JBL D-130, just like the orginal amps had. This is a one and only.

Alex,
I bent the upper aluminum chassis with a press brake myself. The lower chassis was a standard "Bud box" and I bent the tube guards conected to each side myself. Painted and labeled them myself also.
