Mine is not so nicely chamfered but it still works well. I'd reccomend it in a heartbeat. Certainly makes changing strings a lot easier

Of the hundreds of photos I have of Chet, and of the many more that I have seen, I 've never seen a picture of Chet with a 1957 6120 Gretsch. Since this was only the third variation of the 6120 I'm sure Gretsch sent him one. I believe the reason for this mignt be because he favored his 1956 stereo and the new Country Gent at the end of that year. If any one has a photo of Chet with that guitar , I for one would sure like to see it.Stan.

Richard, I agree that Duane and Gretsch belongs together. But he doesn´t sound bad on his Dynasonic Guild either?:

Vidar, the Guild did sound good. Duane liked the Guild for live performance, but in his recordings he always used his original 6120.
