Hi Norm,

that "sounds" great!

I wonder what the programs they announced along with the exhibition will be like.

Regards,

Ingo

This will no doubt be a huge tribute to Chet, to run from this August through June of next year. It makes me very proud of Fred Gretsch and The Gretsch Guitar Company for being the financial impetus behind this display. It will undoubtedly be quite extravagent and very informative for those who don't know that much about the greatest guitar player in history.

Too bad the dates for this exhibit exclude July... I always enjoy the CMHOF special tributes when I attend CAAS each year, but this very special tribute to Chet, will not be ready for this year and it will be over by next :(

That is rather unfortunate. You would think they would have planned for the exhibit to include the CAAS dates.

Probably a scheduling matter but it could also be deliberate scheduling on the part of Gretsch to maximize media 'face time'
Doing it this way gives them publicity during CAAS plus the CMHOF run.
