Time to bone up on those Christmas toons!

Every year I have to dig down and try to remember my Christmas tunes (they all aren't 1-4-5 tunes.) And, try to tuck a new one in the mix. The last couple years I have struggled with a fairly easy beauty of an arrangement of Silent Night by our arranging master, Craig Dobbins, from his tab/CD book "Acoustic Christmas." But, struggle as I may - it dudn't keep me from playing it in the "circle." Kinda jazzy - and, the highlight of the whole tune (for me) is this neat Lenny sounding F#m, F#m7 to B9(b5)/D# riff in the "sleep in heavenly peace" part.....

Palmer, I'm always asked to play the Peanuts Christmas tune "Christmas Time is Here" and also "The Christmas Song" (Chestnuts roasting....). There are lots of neat chord changes and nice harmony in both of those! They are fun because they aren't traditionally played on the guitar and tend to draw more interest when nobody else is playing them.
