Well I thought I would share a little info on the new band I'm in! Burt & The Bandits! OK, this would be completely off topic except for the fact that each member portrays a different character from the Smokey & The Bandit movie series. We're playing all retro country (Willie, Merle, Waylon, Reed, etc...) from the 60's to the 90's.
I get to play Cledus Snow (AKA Jerry Reed) so we'll be playing some great Jerry Reed tunes!
So far for Reed tunes we're playing Amos Moses, East Bound And Down and The Claw! FUN!
It's gonna be soooooooo awesome to get to play these great songs in a band! Especially since we're hailing from and playing mostly in the Atlanta area!
We just started a Facebook page and would for ya'll to come by for a visit! It has info on the band as well as info on the members! Hope its OK to post this here and if so, I hope you like it!
