Imperial or metric
Posted: Fri Jan 21, 2011 6:29 amI need a nut that goes on the outside of my gretsch electromatic that holds the jack plug input in place. I contacted one supplier in the States regarding gretsch parts and they asked me is it a metric or general thread.
I thought they would have been able to answer that question for me. Does anyone here know so I can order one, as I presume all gretsch guitars would have the same thread. I did pick a nut up here in New Zealand from a guitar shop but it would not lock at all so maybe we use imperial or whatever. I am not a technical expert on these sorts of things but with out this small nut I can't do a lot of amplified picking.
