CAAS 2019

Hello! I am new to this forum but not new to the music of Chet Atkins... I am attending my very first CAAS IN 2019... YAY!
I am 56 and retired for the last 5 years... in my retirement I have dedicated myself to music studies, specifically fingerstyle guitar. I have been a student of music since age 9 and now it is nice to finally have time as an adult to dedicate to these studies. I attended Tommy Emmanuel’s guitar camp in Cambria Pines California and also in Havana Cuba... I took good notes and learned a lot. My goals in retirement are to play music for free in nursing homes and Alzheimer’s centers... and anyplace where music can be a healing touch.
I am looking fwd to getting to know many of you in this group and look fwd to meeting you and jamming with you at CAAS 2019... that said... could some of you provide some insight into what attending CAAS is like and what should I expect?
Cheers and happy picking!
