I'm glad the convention is going to be held again. I sure enjoyed being there last year. They were doing a huge remodel job on the Sheraton and I'll be it will be an elegant place again. The convention area is perfect for all that goes on and I think everyone will enjoy themselves. I took a lot of naps last convention and didn't really get out and mingle like I intended, so I missed meeting some people I had hoped to touch base with, but I did see a lot of great playing on the various stages.
Take care.

Ray, I'm disappointed that I never got to meet you. If I had known you were there I would have hunted you down and awakened you from one of your naps! I hope you can return in 2018!

Rande, I was hoping to meet you, too. I checked the badges when I was out and about, but didn't see you. I tell you what...it was 210 steps from the elevator to the room and 210 steps back when going the other way and we were both really worn out by all the walking. I have to say this...when I am awakened from a nap, I have all the charm and personality of a wounded bear the first few minutes, so if you ever do wake me, please be careful. :)
I am sorry I missed meeting you.
Take care,
Ray

Ray, I guess all I needed to know was that you were planning to be there. If you say the same about next year, then I will take the initiative! I also promise not to wake you up. I'll just sit on the floor by your bed and wait until you wake up on your own :-)

Rande, I'm not sure if we can come next year. My wife has family that we haven't seen in a few years and I think we'll be heading up to see them if we can. If we go again, I will contact you and see if we can get together at C.A.A.S. I look forward to meeting you. Take care,
Ray

My reservations have been made. Sheraton reservations seemed to be right on top of things and gave me the room rate for attendees. This is my first trip to CAAS and my only regret is that I haven't arranged my priorities in the past to allow me to attend. Thanks the Mark Pritcher for making this possible.
