For years Steve had a company called Funky Junk that sold CDs at the Chet convention. Way back his mom and dad helped him staff his booth - then, it was his mom - and, finally he just packed it in (when he lost his mom - I believe.) He going to be missed by all.

This deeply saddened me. General Gentry called and informed me. He was very grief stickened. As everyone knows General and Marilyn were very close to Steve. He was all geared up for CAAS as always. Steve always had a new rare Chet or Jerry goodie for me when we met at CAAS. I just emailed him the other week and told him I was bringing him some new Chet dvds for him....he was really excited. Also, he recently got a new dog Cicci who sadly died also. He will be greatly missed.
