Micah, I got the latest Mister Guitar newsletter yesterday and there was a great interview with Norm in there. It was excellent. I don't know how long ago that took place, though. It was a great issue with lots of good news and info. I really enjoyed his interview and the other stories.

We have been trying to contact him for several days now, calling and emailing him, very concerned about norm. He hasn't posted since December 24.

Ray and Micah, I also just got that issue and was glad to see the article on Norm. By the way, he was born and lived in my home town of Muskegon, Michigan. It was also nice to actually see his face for the first time, at least the first for me!

Tom,
I heard from him via email about a month ago. I know he has had some health issues with his copd. I don't think he's been active on the internet much lately.

Hey, thanks for the response, Chuck. I feel like we're a "guitar family" here on the Chetboard even though many of us have never met in person and I wish only the best for all of us. - Tom W.

Sorry to have gotten you to worrying.

I just got tired of posting anywhere...facebook,GDP, here so I gave it a rest.

I hadn't realized the chetboard had revived so well. Last time I checked it looked like "Lonesome Town" with very few conversational posts

That should do it.

Good to see your post, Norm. By the way, my daughter got me a copy of your book on Paul Yandell for Christmas last year. What a great read. I wish I could have met him and Chet. I never even got to hear them play in person but, then again, that's my fault for not pursuing the opportunity. Oh, well, at least we have those precious youtube videos of them. Regards, Tom W.
