I saw on Facebook that a good buddy of mine Roger Crews from North Carolina has passed away from a heart attack. Roger was a very fine picker and could play almost anything that Chet played really well. I got to know Roger thru the Texas Fingerstyle Picking Room on the internet. We spent many an hour listening to one another pick guitar late at night. I will miss talking to him on Facebook.

My condolences to his family and friends. I visited Roger one evening a few years back. I think that he was perhaps younger than I. He could play English Leather especially well. He will truly be missed, especially by folks who knew what a nice fellow and great picker he was. This is a great loss. LMark
