Sitting here today missing my good buddy Paul Yandell. This is the 4th anniversary of his passing and I think about him nearly every day in some way or another. I never got to be friends with him until late in our lives and I envy the ones that knew him a lot of years like Eddie Pennington and many others. Miss you Paul, the world is a far better place for having you in it.

I miss Paul's counsel on guitar problems that I encountered from time to time. He usually had an answer he was willing to share and on occasion sent me parts to fix the problem. A truly good friend to his fellow guitar players.

Paul was one of the dearest friends I've ever had. For over 30 years he was like a brother to me. Showed me a heck of lot more guitar than I'll ever play. What wonderful days we spent together and what precious memories fill my mind when I think of Paul. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. RIP my dear friend, I miss you a lot.
